Trap Rabbit
Trap Rabbit is an alt-jazz keys/drums duo based out of Philadelphia. Together since 2015, Arjun Dube (drums) and Logan Roth (keys) have created a unique and powerful sound combining hard hitting hip-hop grooves, intricate songwriting, and captivating musical chemistry.
Vertical Current
Vertical Current is a band on the rise, a name on the lips of music lovers in one of the greatest musical cities in America, Philadelphia. The band was started in 2009 by local trumpeter and composer Christopher Stevens, while pursuing a music degree from Temple University. Since then, Vertical Current has become the go to band for visiting artists from the likes of Grammy Award winner Chrisette Michele to the awe-inspiring Frank McComb. Additionally, the band has opened for a number of notable artists including The Robert Glasper Experiment, Raheem DeVaughn, and Eric Roberson with whom they later did a summer/fall tour promoting his album, The Box.

Individually, the members of Vertical Current have traveled throughout the world, performing and recording with an array of celebrated and award winning artists including Roberta Flack, John Legend, Jazmine Sullivan, Jill Scott, The Roots, and more. It's no surprise that their interaction with such amazing artists and composers has further kindled Vertical Current’s passion to create and perform at the highest level.

VC's brand of music is a unique blend of genres that is intended to uplift and inspire. The band currently has two CDs available, their eclectic 2011 debut EP “aRe” (co-produced by Philadelphia hit-maker Donald Robinson) and their first full-length project “Bright Side of Midnight” which was released in the summer of 2014. The band has been busy crafting fresh material for their next album and hopes to further inspire the world with great melodies and a message of hope!
Omar's Hat
Omar's Hat started on the corner of 45th and Locust at Meskerem when a group of musicians gathered to spark a jam that hasn’t stopped since. This collective is our open act of rebellion, ever expanding, never settling. This music is our love for Philadelphia, for a history of sounds that make and remake us every day. This music is for Omar, whose dance never quit reminding us that each day is to be treasured; an opportunity to find magic in mundanity. This music is yours. Come get some. All creative attitudes are welcomed and celebrated. Omar's Hat is free to try on and wear out and pass off to a friend or a loved one or a sister or a stranger. We thank you for being a part of the vibe.
